New York Newsday

I believe my first assignment for Jack Sherman at Newsday was in 1991 or 1992. In those days (prior to email attachments), working for this daily paper was a challenge in logistics. I often would send them oversized faxes of black and white art to publish for their ‘same day’ turnarounds, but as I went digital in ’97, this client became one of my most regular throughout the first few decades of my career, and eventually trickled away as my contact retired, and newspapers in general began to cut back in the 2010-15 era.
