I’m not sure what happened, but after struggling for months with the creative doldrums, existential despair and chronic laziness, I seem to have found a groove again. Perhaps it was a satisfying band practice on Thursday evening, or that impromptu portrait on Friday, but I found myself playing music over the weekend with friends, writing two new songs, and jumping into today’s increased workload with a surprising enthusiasm. Here’s today’s Llewellyn Witches Companion interior (above) and a few more Horror coloring book pages (below, with a new decorative border that I’ve retroactively revised all the prior pages with). Perhaps I’ll jump back into the John Muir book this afternoon. Let’s see how long this lasts.
