More Than Three Decades of Getting Away With Drawing Pictures for a Living
Facebook Portrait Series
In 2012, to keep myself busy during a particularly slow summer, I set myself a challenge to draw portraits of each and every one of my (at that time) 200+ ‘Facebook Friends’, in a variety of styles. Below are a sampling of the portraits from this series.

I’ve taken up the challenge again in 2016, and will be doing a new series (the friend list having grown in the intervening years), and will be posting the new entries here as I add to the collection. UPDATE: This project didn’t quite take off in 2016 due to time constraints, but I’ll try to get to more of it in the coming year. Here’s a few new ones.
