Getting pretty busy this week/weekend trying to both get ahead to allow for a short road trip to Colorado next week (my son’s band Bonzo Terks is on tour out there, and we’re hoping to catch a few shows, and do some tent camping and disc golfing). A new book project involving 75 or so interior illustrations is in the ‘sketch phase’, plus I’ve had a few additional magazine projects this week, and the usual trips over to Lansing to take care of my Dad. (oh, and almost forgot, had a major repair job to my riding mower this week to also keep my hands full). The above illustration was one I finished up this morning for the American Bar Association. Below is a fiction piece for Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine I did earlier in the week, and below that, a spot illustration for the Chronicle of Higher Education. Now if you’ll excuse me, I got to get back to work.

Oh yeah, and one more thing: Our band’s cd finally went to the manufacturer this past weekend, as well as another cd for some other local musicians, who I did some cover artwork and design on. Hoping to have them in hand when I get back from our trip.
