Lines and Colors

Self Promotion

I was pleased and flattered to discover last night that my work has been featured on the ‘Lines and Colors’ blog over the weekend. Here’s a link to the site. For those unfamiliar with the blog, I have been an avid reader of this arts and illustration site for many years, and it is an invaluable inspiration tool, and I’ve discovered many favorite artists I would have been otherwise ignorant of after seeing them featured on this blog. I urge you to check it out and make it a daily pilgrimage.

Often this job can feel like I am operating in an isolation tank, and after 25 years of plugging away at it with a minimum of feedback, it is a good feeling to discover that there is someone out there looking with favor upon what you do. Thanks Charley.

Mid May Roundup

ABA, Barrons, US Catholic

Most of what I’ve been working on over the past three weeks have been for upcoming book projects that I can’t share here due to contractual reasons. I’ve finished up one of the three books, and I’m nearing the finish on the second of the three, and just starting work on the finishes for the third book. I’m hoping to have all that publishing work wrapped up by the 2nd week of June. In the meantime, a few other pieces to show that have squeezed in the margins. Above is a piece on the Japanese economy for Barrons that I did this afternoon, and below are a few pieces for the American Bar Association that I did earlier this week. At the bottom is an illustration for US Catholic I did last week (or the week before, I forget).
